Nominations open

The ballot, ordered by support.

Nominations close Nov 24, 2026 — then the final week begins. Every month starts clean: support votes reset, so a new idea is never buried under last month's totals.

How the month works

All month

Post ideas, support the ones you want (one per person per idea), and build the plans — itemized budget, milestones, upkeep, community coverage.

Final week

The 10 most-supported ideas with finished plans become the final ballot — ranked by the votes, locked in automatically. One vote per person — pick one.

The goal

Most votes wins — but it needs 5+ final votes, or there's no winner that month. The winner becomes the community's goal, funded in 30-day rounds. Ideas that don't make the cut are saved for later, visible to all.

The plan: Community Builders would pay $25/month — $20 toward the community's goal fund, $5 toward the team and operations. Planned model, pending legal review. No payments accepted until the entity exists and money handling is cleared by counsel. Voting, submitting ideas, and participating are free. Memberships aren't live yet. That's the planned split — payment processing fees come out first (so real payouts land below these numbers), and the exact fee schedule is still being worked out.

Who controls the money

Voters control the goal fund.

The founder cannot override how goal money is spent. The operations fund is public too — every dollar recorded with receipts in the ledger. The people vote on what it pays for (the cost of running the machine); whatever is left over flows automatically into the Legacy Fund — see the rules. Not the founder alone — the voters.

Every goal target includes an upkeep and maintenance reserve from the start — projects are funded to stay standing, not just to open. Every dollar will be accounted for publicly in the open ledger.
